Here we present a number of images of a maritime theme.
So far they are limited to lighthouses in Australia, South Africa and Canada, and timeball towers in Australia, South Africa and the United Kingdom.

With the exception of the Brockton Point Lighthouse in Vancouver, British Columbia, these are on the shores of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay in Ontario.
Once used to allow ships in port to get the accurate local time and hence calculate longitude, technology has caught up with these.
A handful around the world are maintained for their heritage value.
